The Observance Days for the year 2013:

These are special days when the Buddhist followers go to the Temple, study scriptures and practice meditation intensively. Some Buddhist may opt to meditate for the whole  night. The Buddhist laity normally put on white clothes  and take on the eight precepts for the whole day.
